Rick Goodman (M.D. 1975, Residency 1978) has been working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta for more than 23 years. He served as editor-in-chief of CDCs Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report for more than 10 of those years. In May 2001, Goodman graduated from Emory Universitys School of Law and is working to create a new program on public health law within the CDC. He co-authored Precision Woods and Long Iron Shots (Human Kinetics, 1998), about one of his favorite pastimes, golf.
