Images from the Taubman Medical Library’s Rare Book Room
The Alfred Taubman Medical Library Rare Book Room contains approximately 6,300 volumes of medical works of scholarly significance, original research and medical classics. With titles dating from 1470 to the early 20th century, the collections consist primarily of pre-1822 imprints and include 82 incunabula (books printed prior to 1501), medical fugitive sheets, medical cartoons, portraits, and illustrations, and a collection of medical magic amulets.
