To all of you who were able to join us for the U-M Medical School’s Reunion ’06, we hope you enjoyed the chance to meet old friends — and make new ones — during dinners, campus tours, tailgate parties and, of course, during the Michigan Wolverines’ victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes.
In addition to all the fun, our alumni also recognized the outstanding contributions of a few of their most beloved colleagues by honoring Robert Z. Gussin, Ph.D., and Peter Ward, M.D., with Distinguished Achievement Awards, and Michael M.E. Johns, M.D., with a Distinguished Service Award.
Planning for Reunion ’07 has already begun, and we hope that our alumni from the classes of 1957, ’62, ’67, ’72, ’77, ’82, ’87, ’92, ’97 and 2002, as well as all our emeritus alumni, will mark their calendars for October 26 and 27, 2007. Next year’s reunion will provide a wonderful opportunity for you and your classmates to gather and reminisce, and to enjoy an exciting afternoon of football as the Michigan Wolverines take on the Minnesota Gophers.
